CHARITY VISITATION -Year 1 Pupils
To consolidate what the children had learned about Mother Theresa in their history lesson on Important people in history, the year one pupils led a school drive to gather items and visit a home.
The year one pupils visited the Home Sweet Home Orphanage on Thursday, June 20, 2024. The pupils had a swell time as they met children they had fun playing with. They all took turns to carry the youngest child - 6 months old Noah. They also listened to the story of how the home came about, they were informed on why they do not refer to their home as an orphanage, but a home.
The pupils presented all items they had gathered from the whole school drive, and the administration were grateful the pupils took such bold initiative, and mostly for making out time to play with the children.
The orphanage has expressed profound gratitude to the Howbury Community for its invaluable assistance in their mission to create a better world.
