Library Programs and Initiatives

Book Donation Drive

Every year, Howbury School donates over 1,000 books to schools, churches, and reading clubs in the community, promoting literacy and the joy of giving back. We invite parents, students, and patrons to join this initiative by donating books or volunteering.

Reading Clinic

Our specialized Reading Clinic supports children struggling with reading and comprehension. Personalized strategies and tools help students improve fluency, confidence, and overall literacy skills, ensuring no child is left behind.

Illustration Workshops

Creativity meets storytelling in our Illustration Workshops. These sessions guide students in exploring the art of visual storytelling, enhancing both their creative and communication skills.

Performance Indices Integration

Student engagement with library resources contributes to their Performance Indices, motivating regular and meaningful interaction with books, technology, and learning tools.

Technology and Innovation

We integrate technology to enrich the library experience, ensuring accessibility and innovation:

  • Virtual Library Access: Students can browse and borrow digital books anytime, anywhere.
  • Interactive Learning Platforms: Tools that engage students in research, exploration, and discovery.
  • Virtual Field Trips: Technology-powered tours of museums, historical landmarks, and scientific institutions worldwide.
